1. Information We Collect

Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture (if signing in with Google). If you sign up with email, we store a hashed version of your password.

Usage data: We track word usage, plan information, and humanization history to provide the Service and enforce usage limits.

Payment information: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. We store your Stripe customer ID and transaction records.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to: (a) provide and maintain the Service; (b) process payments; (c) send transactional emails (welcome, password reset, plan upgrades); (d) enforce usage limits; (e) improve the Service.

3. Text Data Privacy

Text you submit for humanization is processed in real-time and stored in your humanization history so you can access it later. We do not use your submitted text to train AI models. You can delete your humanization history at any time from the dashboard.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: (a) Stripe for payment processing; (b) Supabase for database hosting; (c) Anthropic for AI text processing; (d) Resend for transactional emails; (e) Vercel for hosting. These providers process data on our behalf under their respective privacy policies.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, row-level security on our database, and secure API authentication. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens). We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to: (a) access your personal data; (b) update your profile information; (c) delete your humanization history; (d) delete your account and all associated data; (e) export your data by contacting us. To exercise these rights, use the Settings page or contact us.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Humanization history is retained until you delete it or delete your account. When you delete your account, all data is permanently removed from our systems.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
